Intro to ABA - Exploring Applied Behaviour Analysis
Please join us for a free virtual workshop exploring the basic principles of ABA , presented by KidsAbility's Foundational Family Supports.
What is ABA?
In this workshop we cover the basic principles of applied behaviour analysis (ABA) to help you understand how behaviour is affected by the environment. This includes learning behaviour, the behaviour of completing daily activities, the behaviour of interacting with others, and challenging behaviour!
We will discuss how ABA is used to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviour, the types of skills that can be taught, and what ABA therapy might look like. We will discuss commonly used strategies for teaching new skills and how you them to increase learning opportunities and reduce challenging behaviours.
