Understanding Challenging Behaviours Workshop - Foundational Family Supports (Virtual)

All behaviours have a reason to occur, even the most challenging ones to handle. Our Understanding Challenging Behaviours Workshop teaches caregivers the skills to observe and determine the function, or reason, behind why a child may engage in a specific behaviour and teaches you how to address that function while meeting your child’s need. We talk about strategies to reduce the behaviour and how to come up with replacements behaviours.
 
Foundational Family Support workshops are available to families who are registered with the Ontario Autism Program. Families must include their OAP reference number(s) to be registered for the event.If you are not registered with the OAP but wish to attend reach out to our staff to inquire about potential available community seats.
