Catalyst, KidsAbility’s Technology and Innovation Committee, was formed after hosting a highly successful two-part ‘Discovery Lab’ series with the Ontario Centres of Excellence, GreenHouse Labs at the University of Waterloo and St. Paul’s University College.  In that series, teams focused on developing new and innovative solutions to help overcome mobility challenges that our youth were facing to inclusive participation. Due to its success, Catalyst was formed to continue that journey to:

  • Innovate in areas typically constrained by numerous factors.
  • Build relationships and engagement opportunities within our community to the benefit of everyone.
  • Become the catalyst for change.

Through Catalyst, we work together to bridge the gaps and break down barriers between vendors, clients and families and service providers. Through this committee, KidsAbility seeks to engage partners to innovate, engage and become the catalyst for change.
