July 12 - September 6, 2021

 Level Up for a Cause

Team DAVE - FRC Team 3683 – is a Robotics Team from St. David CSS in Waterloo whose goal is to prepare high school students for the future, helping build connections and gain valuable life skills. The team participates in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) which is an international program for high school students. 

As KidsAbility has helped so many students, not only on Team DAVE but also within our community, the team is fundraising with a goal to raise $5,000 for the children and youth at KidsAbility.

 September 3 - October 8, 2021

 Rangers Reach - 50/50 Draw

Rangers Reach has announced its Community Impact 50/50 Raffle and is proud to support KidsAbility Foundation in our critical work for our community, all while celebrating the return to OHL hockey. In addition to regular game night 50/50 raffles at each Rangers home game, the grand prize draw will occur on October 8th at the Kitchener Rangers Home Opener. The raffle is proudly presented by the Waterloo Minor Hockey Association.

Smile Cookies are back this fall for only $1 each. 100% of proceeds from every Smile Cookie support
charities in local communities – like KidsAbility!

Last year, nearly $11 million was donated to 550+ local charities, hospitals and community groups
across Canada with a record breaking total of over $81,000 raised for KidsAbility to support core therapy programs and help children, youth and their families to achieve great things at home, school and in the community!

 McDonalds Guelph: McHappy Day 2021

Mark your calendars! On Wednesday, September 22,more than 1400 McDonald’s Restaurants across Canada will celebrate McHappy Day 2021.  

McHappy Day is a very special day at McDonald’s as it is part of an exciting effort to raise funds in support of Canadian families and children in need. In addition to various fundraising initiatives in our restaurants, this year 10% from every order sold on September 22ndwill be donated to Ronald McDonald House of South Central Ontario and other local children’s charities including Big Brothers Big Sisters Guelph and KidsAbility Guelph. 



Grainharvest Breadhouse

From every tasty, fresh and hand-made pretzel purchased from Grainharvest Breadhouse, 10 cents is donated to KidsAbility. Since 2013, their generous support has raised over $50,000 raised to date! With four locations to serve our community, you can purchase a pretzel and help make a difference!

Spilling the Greens: The Cookbook that Keeps on Giving

Spilling the Greens is a cookbook by local author Josie Schwartz which contains a collection of recipes focused on wholesome, clean ingredients that are prepared in a simple way. With over 40 recipes included, ranging from sweets and baked goods to healthy breakfasts, drinks, mains and salads, there is something for everyone.

100% of the profits generated from the book will be donated to the KidsAbility Foundation.

Rotary of Kitchener-Waterloo – Catch the Ace Lottery

Thank you to all supporters who played in Rotary of KW's Catch the Ace lottery. The Ace has been found - with the announcement of a lucky winner who took home both the Weekly Prize and the Progressive Jackpot totaling $98,000.

Proudly founded and supported by Rotarians since 1957, KidsAbility is one of three named beneficiaries of the net proceeds, alongside St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation and Grand River Hospital Foundation.

Watch for information about an upcoming NEW Catch the Ace lottery with a fresh new website managed & supported by the work of five Rotary clubs in Kitchener and Waterloo, proudly serving the community for nearly 100 years. 


 Annual Events - KidsAbility Superhero Challenge

It’s all because of you and a community of enthusiastic and unshakable supporters that we doubled our goal to raise over $168,000 for the 2021 KidsAbility Superhero Challenge! Thank you to everyone who took up the challenge while raising funds and showing superhero spirit!

The Superhero Challenge is a fun, friendly and inclusive challenge where families, schools, groups and companies can select an activity of their choosing to raise funds to support children and youth at KidsAbility.
