Resource Centre

The KidsAbility Resource Centre is a treasure trove of over 5,000 carefully curated resources designed to cater to the diverse needs and interests of families in our community.

All of our resources have been vetted by therapists and have been carefully selected to support children, youth and families on topics such as toileting, speech, sensory, parenting, gross motor and much more!

Our resources include a wide selection of books, games, toys and devices and are free to anyone in the community (that’s right – you do not need to be a KidsAbility client). We also have therapeutic equipment such as walkers, standers, wheelchairs, and more.

How to Borrow

Your therapist or reception can help you with borrowing materials when you are on site. Reception has copies of the membership form for you to complete. All resource(s) borrowed will need to be signed in and returned to the front desk. Our Customer Service Representatives will be happy to help you with this.

PLEASE NOTE: The Resource Centre is not staffed by therapists. Families are welcome to access any materials they wish from the Resource Centre except for therapeutic equipment. For therapeutic equipment such as walkers, bikes, sledges, wheelchairs, etc., please consult with your therapist. By searching our database, you will be able to view materials (descriptions, etc.) that are available and decide if you would like to proceed with borrowing. If you have any questions about the materials you are borrowing as it relates to your child’s development/therapy, please write these questions down and bring them to your appointment with a therapist. Your therapist will be happy to assist you with that!
